Besides making Women’s Swimwear since the mid 1970’s on the North Shore of O’ahu, Honeybuns Apparel owner; Carmen Rawson, felt she wanted to become more creative with Girl’s Surf apparel, and thus the humble beginning of HoneyBuns Apparel, which was founded in 1989.
The characters used in the Honeybuns Apparel line, were created by Carmen, and her long time friend and well reknowned artist; Patty Irons, driven by their mutual love of Surfing and the Surfing lifestyle. Each character design has an individual storyline behind them that is inspired and intended for the new generation of young surfer girls all around the Surfing World.
